Are you a qualified equine vet with a couple of years of experience under your belt and eager to elevate your career while working with performance horses at every level? This well established Equine practice is excited to welcome an Ambulatory Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to the expanding team in Berkshire. The caseload is as varied as it is stimulating, encompassing Racing, FEI and National competition, World Class programmes, and a loyal base of sport and leisure clients. Responsibilities

This role centers on delivering ambulatory veterinary care for a diverse client base in a busy practice. The team emphasizes collaboration and professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of equine experience with confidence in core ambulatory skills.
  • Solid understanding of performance horse management, both at home and in competition.
  • Strong communication skills, a grounded approach, and a genuine enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Sense of humour and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon eligible to register with the RCVS.
