This full‐time position offers a diverse range of shift patterns at the main practice on Portobello High Street, with a manageable 1:6 Saturday rota and no out‐of‐hours or bank holiday cover required. With a competitive salary of up to £32,000, depending on experience, this role is designed to provide both professional satisfaction and work‐life balance.

As a key member of the nursing team, your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of nursing, including theatre work, inpatient care, nurse consultations, and supporting your colleagues. Your role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice while delivering exceptional care to patients and clients.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent clinical nursing skills and a genuine enthusiasm for providing the highest standards of care. A conscientious and detail‐focused approach, coupled with strong organisational and time‐management skills, is essential. The ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment and work collaboratively with the wider clinical team is also crucial.

The practice boasts three branches located across Edinburgh, each equipped with state‐of‐the‐art facilities. The main site features a dental suite with x‐ray, digital x‐ray, ultrasound, and an in‐house lab. The practice is proud to hold rabbit welfare accreditation (Silver) and feline‐friendly status (Silver).

The team is the heart of the practice, comprising 10 vets, 6 registered veterinary nurses, and 5 receptionists. With a wealth of experience and a commitment to team development, progression, and CPD, the practice fosters a supportive and skilled environment.
