As the Head Registered Veterinary Nurse at a leading Doncaster practice, you will be part of a family-owned, independent group that treats pets as part of their family. The practice boasts a modern facility with four consult rooms, separate wards for dogs, cats, and exotics, and an innovative pod design in the waiting area. You will work alongside a dedicated team of experienced RVNs, four fantastic vets, one VCA, and knowledgeable front-of-house care coordinators.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Perform general RVN duties
- Manage the RVN and reception team
- Conduct one-to-one meetings and manage team rotas
- Handle general administrative tasks
- Participate in nurse clinics and Schedule 3 procedures where applicable
- Engage in general first-opinion theatre work
Skills and experience:
- Qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Enthusiastic and dynamic approach to pet care
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
