Are you a seasoned Veterinary Surgeon with a certificate in surgery, eager to advance your career in a cutting‑edge practice? My client based in Essex is opening a state‑of‑the‑art facility and is seeking a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team.
About the role
You will be part of a talented group of 14 day vets and 3 night vets, including specialists in ophthalmology, dermatology, internal medicine, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, and small animal surgery. This collaborative environment offers unparalleled opportunities for case discussions, referral support, and continuous learning.
You will have the autonomy to generate your own cases and manage your own clinics, with a focus on orthopaedic care. Working within a 2‑3 vet team in Essex, you’ll have access to top‑notch facilities, including five consultation rooms, a surgery suite, x‑ray capabilities, and an in‑house lab. For advanced diagnostics and procedures, the nearby hospital is equipped with CT, MRI, and scopes, allowing you to follow up on your cases seamlessly.
Additionally, you will collaborate with a dynamic and experienced nursing team and support our new graduates, fostering a nurturing and educational environment. The location is easily accessible from Hertfordshire, Essex, and North London, making your commute convenient.
About You
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Certificate in surgery
- Confident in performing basic fracture repairs, cruciate repairs, and advanced soft tissue surgery
- Interested in covering both surgical and consulting duties
You must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon and eligible to register with the RCVS.
