Are you a passionate veterinary surgeon seeking a rewarding role within a supportive and independent practice in Northumberland? An independent practice is excited to welcome a dedicated vet to their close‑knit team. At this practice the focus is on delivering outstanding first‑opinion care to pets in the Northumberland area, just 30 minutes from Newcastle and on the coast. The practice boasts a loyal client base, ensuring excellent case continuity and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and their owners.
The team is equipped with state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including in‑house IDEXX lab machines, advanced ultrasound, digital x‑ray, and dental x‑ray, enabling high‑quality diagnostics and treatment. The practice operates with a well‑rounded team of three vets, six registered veterinary nurses, one soon‑to‑qualify student RVN, three animal care assistants, and two receptionists.
The practice offers a flexible working environment with options for full‑time, part‑time, job sharing, and flexible hours to suit individual needs. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 am‑7:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm, Saturday 8:30 am‑12:30 pm.
