Located in County Durham, on the River Tees, an area rich in history and natural beauty, you’ll have the opportunity to explore stunning landscapes, from the Durham Dales to the breathtaking coastline, and immerse yourself in local heritage sites like Durham Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Provide great veterinary care with a mix of consulting and theatre slots.
- Collaborate with a fantastic team of vets, 5 RVNs, 2 VCAs, and 4 front-of-house Care Coordinators.
- Conduct 15-minute consultations and manage daily administration tasks.
- Work 4 days per week, with the option for a part-time role (3 days a week).
- Participate in a 1:5 Saturday morning rota
- Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with no out-of-hours commitments.
Skills and experience
- Essential: A qualified veterinary surgeon with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach.
- Essential: Passionate about ensuring pets receive quality, affordable healthcare.
- Desirable: Experience in a Fear Free accredited practice.
- Desirable: Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pet owners and team members.
