This established practice is now seeking a confident and dedicated GP vet ready to make a lasting impact.

This position offers a balanced work‑life schedule with a 4‑day week (Thursdays off), a 1:4 branch Saturday rotation, and a 1:10 hospital Sunday rotation.

Your New Team and Support System
You will work alongside a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and a fantastic trainee nurse who knows the practice inside‑out.
Additional support is readily available from their nearby branches, offering ultrasound facilities.
For complex cases, their 24‑hour Hospital is just a referral away.
Leadership and Professional Growth
As a sole charge branch vet, you will receive leadership training and work closely with your RVN to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
You will also be supported by a regional manager and a regional head vet for any clinical management needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough consultations and make evidence‑based treatment recommendations.
- Perform surgeries within your competence and manage overnight care limitations.
- Prescribe and dispense medications in line with current legislation and RCVS guidance.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical notes.
- Refer cases to a GVG Hospital when necessary.
- Foster a respectful and collaborative team environment.
- Oversee the consulting and surgical/diagnostic diary in compliance with company policies.

The practice is conveniently situated between Streatham Hill and Brixton stations, just a 20‑minute walk or a 5‑minute cycle away.
