This Small Animal Hospital based in South Wales is thrilled to announce an exciting role for a passionate and experienced First Opinion Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team at their RCVS accredited facility. With no on‑call duties, thanks to a dedicated night service, you can achieve an excellent work‑life balance. The work pattern includes a four‑day week with just one nine‑hour weekend shift every five weeks and one bank holiday shift per year. The hospital boasts state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including a CT scanner, advanced ultrasonography, endosurgery facilities, and dedicated orthopaedic, soft tissue, and exotic theatres. The extensive in‑house equipment allows for comprehensive case management without the need for external referrals.

About the Role: This role offers a competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Full‑time and part‑time positions are considered, with a total of 38.1 hours per week, including weekend and bank holiday shifts. They support continuous professional development, including certificate study and clinical development.

About You: The ideal candidate is a confident and experienced Veterinary Surgeon. A team player with excellent communication skills, you will thrive in a role that allows you to support and develop your colleagues.
