We are looking for a veterinary surgeon who is a dynamic, enthusiastic pet and people person, with a passion for ensuring that pets receive quality, affordable healthcare with a Fear Free centred approach. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of launching our biggest clinic yet in April, delivering the care that pets would choose as part of a rapidly growing group of independent, family-owned practices. You will be working initially alongside a Clinic Director and a growing team of 2 RVN’s and 2 FTE front of house Care Co-ordinators. Solid experience with routine surgical procedures and ability to work independently is required for this role, along with UK practice experience. 4 days per week 08.30am to 7pm. Days have a mix of consulting and theatre slots, with daily administration time factored in. Our consults are 15 minutes long. 1:2 Saturday morning 08.30 to 1pm (increases as clinic and vet team continue to grow). No out-of-hours. 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (Good Friday worked but day in lieu given). Private Medical Insurance including Employee Assistance Programme access. £1000 standard CPD allowance with scope to study toward certificates. Fear Free training and accreditation as standard. Day off for birthday. Two days off to work for a local charity of your choice. Workplace pension scheme. 2 free Total Wellness Plans for your own pets – 25% discount off subsequent plans and all other treatments. Our Wellness Plan is the best value plan out there, with unlimited veterinary consultations, annual health check including blood and urine tests, plus generous discounts on neutering and dentistry. RCVS and VDS fees paid. Relocation package available of up to £5000. Quarterly ‘fun budget’ for the team to socialise outside of work. Summer and Christmas group social events. Ad hoc trips to Nice & Monaco for CPD, plus a chance for team members to win a trip to the North American Vet Congress in Orlando. Salary £45,000 to £60,000 dependent on experience. Anyone can and should offer the above. What makes Harrison Family Vets different: We provide a positive environment where you will be supported by vastly experienced owners that you will know and work with. You will be challenged, and your career will develop. Being part of a fast growing and young practice is exciting. We guarantee you will enjoy the ride and have fun! You will be part of a team of like-minded colleagues. We are people focused, ask any of our team. The deal is that you work hard and in return we will look after you to the best of our ability. We are pet centric – we are the only veterinary practice outside of North America to be Fear Free accredited. This is the standard of care our pets deserve. We genuinely and passionately believe in the above. If you think it sounds attractive and you are ready to make a difference by leading one of our new practices, joining an existing clinic, or want to enquire about future locations, then please email annabelh@harrisonfamilyvets.co.uk and we can set up an informal discussion. Thank you, from the Harrison Family Vets team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
