The Vet Team: At the heart of the clinic is a passionate, experienced, and supportive veterinary team, working collaboratively to provide the highest standards of care to our patients and clients. The Head Vet brings a wealth of experience in both medicine and surgery, leading the clinical team with enthusiasm and a strong focus on mentorship and case development. Known for a calm and thoughtful approach, they support the team in clinical decision-making and help nurture professional growth across the board. In addition to the Head Vet, there are 3 experienced vets that bring a diverse mix of clinical interests, including surgery, internal medicine, imaging, dentistry, and preventative care—with team members actively working toward further qualifications and always happy to share their knowledge and support one another.

What You’ll Be Doing: As one of the dedicated Veterinary Surgeons, you’ll be an integral part of our team, delivering high-quality clinical care in a varied caseload environment.
- Carrying out a wide range of consultations including preventative care, acute illness management, and chronic condition reviews.
- Performing routine and complex surgeries – soft tissue, dental, and orthopaedics (if desired).
- Using top-tier diagnostic equipment, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab (Idexx), and endoscopy, to diagnose and treat patients.
- Collaborating with a skilled nursing and support team to provide exceptional care to pets and clients.
- Participating in clinical discussions, contributing to case reviews, and supporting junior vets if desired.
- Documenting cases and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Attending and contributing to clinical meetings and CPD events.
Rota Pattern: 4-day working week (shifts typically 8.30am – 6.30pm), 1 in 6 weekends (Saturday AM consults with time off in lieu), No OOH or on-call – work-life balance is a priority.
Facilities: Digital X-ray & Dental X-ray, High-spec ultrasound, In-house laboratory (Idexx), Endoscopy & Laparoscopy equipment, Separate cat and dog wards, Isolation facilities, Spacious operating theatres and prep areas, Multi-vet team for case collaboration and second opinions.
