Highgate Vets in Kendal is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our warm and supportive team. This is a 12-month maternity cover position with the potential to become a part-time role afterwards.

What Will You Be Doing?

You\’ll be the welcoming face and voice of our practice, playing a key role in delivering an excellent experience for our clients and their furry companions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting clients with warmth and professionalism
  • Managing phone calls, booking appointments, and handling general inquiries
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and maintaining accurate client records
  • Supporting our veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Working collaboratively to provide compassionate, efficient care
  • Rota

    This is a full-time position working 38.5 hours per week. The start time will be 8:00am and finish times will be between 5:00pm and 6:00pm with every other Saturday from 8:30am-12:30pm.
