Moorview Referrals are hiring a Veterinary Receptionist on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave. As our Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact and play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and their pets have a welcoming and positive experience. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a warm and compassionate demeanour, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. You will be joining a small, close-knit team that looks after one another, creating a supportive and friendly environment.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with clients and clinical staff to provide high-quality customer care.
  • Meeting and greeting clients and pets.
  • Booking appointments and managing diaries.
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries.
  • Processing payments for services and products.
  • Managing cash and end-of-day banking.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and their pets.

The role is part-time, 24 hours per week on a rotational basis, and will be a fixed-term contract.

Moorview Referrals is a multi-disciplinary, purpose-built veterinary referral hospital based in Cramlington, Northumberland. Our team comprises over 100 members, including veterinary surgeons, front-of-house staff, and administrators, all dedicated to our purpose - Healthy animals and happy owners.
