We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Lynton Vets from September 2025!

If you have a passion for customer service, experience in a veterinary reception, and are keen to make a difference in a busy veterinary environment, we\’d love to hear from you. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with clients in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring that every visit is a positive experience. You will manage appointment bookings, handle queries, and take payments, while also dispensing medication and assisting with general administrative tasks.

Additionally, you will be required to handle account queries, chase outstanding debt, and manage payments, as well as complete end-of-day banking and monitor petty cash records.

You will also support the team with any other administrative tasks as required by the Reception Manager, Practice Manager, or Clinical Director.

Who we are

We are a long-established Small Animal Veterinary Group. As a progressive practice, we recently relocated to our brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, and continue to invest in refurbishing and equipping our other two practices to the same high standard. The practice maintains state-of-the-art clinical equipment such as dental radiography, Virtual Veterinary Equipment (VVS), ultrasound scanners, anesthetic multiparameter monitors, and patient warming equipment. We also have a purpose-built grooming salon at our main site. We have a loyal client base and a gold standard reputation across the local community. Our location offers great transport links to London and the beauty and history of Surrey to explore.

Our team includes 6 Veterinary Surgeons supported by 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 ANAs, and experienced Receptionists across the Group. Your shift pattern

This is a part-time role working 27 hours per week, covering various shifts including 1 in 4 Saturdays.
