Our wonderful team at Robson & Prescott Veterinary Surgeons is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us. We will also consider 2nd year student nurses. Your New Role As part of our large and dynamic nursing team, based in a purpose-built veterinary hospital, you\’ll have the opportunity to work across all clinical areas. You will collaborate with both the vet and nurse teams to provide exceptional care to our patients, including companion and exotic species. We\’re seeking an RVN comfortable working in a busy hospital environment and independently at branch surgeries. Full training and support will be provided to candidates without hospital experience. Join an Advanced Team Our mixed animal practice with a focus on exotics is located on the outskirts of Morpeth, Northumberland, near the coast and countryside. We have 7 branch surgeries in the region. Our team includes 25 vets, 25 RVNs, 7 SVNs, and 6 VCAs, supported by certificate holders in orthopaedics, exotics, behaviour, acupuncture & analgesia, and dentistry. Our nursing team also includes certificate holders in exotics, dentistry, feline nursing, and nutrition, with others working towards qualifications. We pride ourselves on our close-knit team, dedicated wellbeing group, and regular social and charitable events. Our award-winning hospital is fully equipped with 4 theatres, separate dental, imaging, and radiography suites, wards for cats, dogs, exotics, and small mammals, a hydrotherapy room, and facilities for equine and farm animal hospitalization. Rota Patterns That Work for You This full-time role involves 40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends and out-of-hours shifts. It may include branch rotation, and flexible working patterns can be discussed. Part-time options are also considered.
