We\’re Hiring: Clinical Floor Manager
Are you an experienced and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with strong organizational and leadership skills? We\’re looking for a Clinical Floor Manager to join our thriving 24-hour hospital in Basildon Pitsea and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our busy, multidisciplinary environment.
At Basildon 24-Hour Hospital, we\’re proud to provide state-of-the-art facilities including MRI, CT, hydrotherapy, rehabilitation and exotics services, alongside round-the-clock emergency, and referral care. As our Clinical Floor Manager, you\’ll be at the heart of hospital operations, ensuring both patients and colleagues receive the very best support.
What the Role Involves
- Managing the flow of patients in and out of the hospital.
- Providing a critical link between the clinical team and reception team, coordinating referrals, colleagues, and room allocation to optimize efficiency.
- Planning and overseeing daily procedures across departments.
- Anticipating and resolving any day-to-day issues that may impact workflow.
- Supporting each clinical department and providing cover where required.
- Leading the team in delivering outstanding care for pets, clients, and colleagues.
What We\’re Looking For
- A highly organized RVN with proven experience in a hospital or referral setting.
- Strong logistical, problem-solving and diary management skills.
- A confident, approachable leader who can support and inspire colleagues.
- Someone passionate about delivering seamless patient care in a busy environment.
What We Offer

- Full-time position (40 hours per week).

- Salary up to £38,000, dependent on experience.
