Experienced Out of Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse β Vets4Pets Colchester Advanced Practice, Small Animal Hospital We have an exciting opportunity for an OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our multidisciplinary clinical team at Vets4Pets Colchester Advanced Small Animal Veterinary Hospital. About us Our main objective as an employer is to provide colleagues with a happy, healthy and progressive working environment in which they are able to provide a high level of patient care, 24 hours a day. You\βll be working alongside a fun loving, expanded team of 14 RVNs, 6 SVNs, and 18 vets with various post graduate certificates and advanced certificates in orthopedic surgery and medicine. You are also supported by our fantastic, highly efficient, and friendly support team of practice managers and client care advisors. We\βre a brand new, beautiful, modern Small Animal Hospital equipped with everything one would need including CT, Endoscopy, Arthroscopy, ICU, and high specification hospital wards and equipment. We have a large client base with a varied 1st and 2nd opinion caseload. About the role This role is full time working 40 hours a week. Your rota will be 4 nights working 8pm-8am followed by 5 nights off with a comfortable workload including a good mix of Inpatient Care and ECC Nursing. You\βll be working alongside a Vet and Veterinary Care Assistant with ample time for handover at the start and end of your shifts. The practice phone is diverted to Vets-Now from 10pm till 8am, leaving you free to purely focus on inpatient care after 10pm.
