Management Accountant, Integrations – Global Business Services

As a GBS Integrations Management Accountant, your primary responsibility is to oversee the integration of newly acquired clinics into the respective RTR systems, processes, and overall ways of working in collaboration with GBS and Genpact RTR teams for your respective market(s).
You will additionally partner with our local market-based Merger & Acquisition, Local Finance, and Global Acquisition Finance colleagues to ensure that GBS, in partnership with our outsourced provider Genpact, are operationally ready for day 1 trading with any newly acquired clinic for all Record to Report activities.
Key aspects of this role include full oversight of month-end close execution & reporting as a result of RTR transactional month-end close activities. Collaboration with Genpact, GBS RTR Global Integration Lead, and GBS Regional Accounting Leads will be essential to ensure each month-end close is accurate and timely.
You will also work closely with our GBS RTR Global Process Owner to drive continuous process improvement and leverage technology and automation tools to optimize workflows and reduce manual activities, particularly for clinics based in Canada.
This role is crucial within GBS to ensure alignment with our group strategy in integrating newly acquired clinics, maintaining consistent and efficient balance sheet management, and ensuring our month-end close process complies with IFRS and GAAP standards.
IVC Evidensia is undergoing significant change; therefore, embracing and driving this change is part of the role. The position requires strong analytical, leadership, and global RTR knowledge, as well as the ability to navigate complex balance sheet processes and collaborate across teams and stakeholders in a rapidly evolving organization.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end month-end reporting for multiple countries and regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with stakeholder groups.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with country CFOs, Group Finance, GBS, and Genpact management for seamless balance sheet reporting of newly acquired clinics in Canada.
- Ensure compliance with global policies, regulations, and reporting standards in each country within your region.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of balance sheet reporting.
- Stay updated with IFRS/GAAP legislation, industry trends, and emerging technologies in global accounting management.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and metrics to assess reporting performance and ensure SLAs are met for all clinics.
- Manage relationships with external/internal auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders for audits and compliance checks, with support from GBS RTR Integrations and Genpact.
- Provide strategic guidance on balance sheet management for new clinics in Canada, partnering with local finance leadership.
- Participate in professional networks to exchange knowledge and stay current with industry best practices.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in a second language (e.g., French) is preferable.
- Proven leadership and behavioral skills in a complex RTR environment, including working with external partners and leading change initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of local finance reporting, regulations, and compliance across multiple regions is preferable.
- Extensive experience managing relationships within a finance reporting environment.
- Proficiency with finance systems (e.g., Oracle, Blackline, Open Accounts).
- Strong leadership and motivational skills for managing diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements.
- Analytical skills to interpret P&L and Balance Sheet data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Understanding of data protection and confidentiality regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Commitment to continuous learning to stay updated on global finance regulations and practices.
