About us
You will be joining a happy and friendly team of 11 clinical and non‑clinical colleagues who genuinely enjoy working together with a very low colleague turnover rate. We look forward to welcoming a new vet into our practice. Hopefully you’ll love it here so much you’ll stick with us too! We share the same ethos of offering the best possible care and help drive the practice forward, building a great reputation within our local community and further afield. You’ll work alongside a team of 3 vets including a certificate holder in orthopaedics. We deal with a wide variety of cases each day, and love to work cases to a high standard. The practice itself has all the equipment you’d expect from a growing GP practice and provides a spacious working environment including 3 consult rooms and a separate kitchen/office space for the team.
The role and you
This is a balanced role with surgery and medicine and as a solid GP practice we are looking for a vet who is personable with good clinical skills and confident with routine procedures and consultations. We allow 20 minutes for our consultations, as well as dedicated admin time throughout the day. Communication is important to us, so we’re also looking for a personable vet competent in building relationships with colleagues and clients alike! The hours required are part time, ideally 3 days a week with flexibility offered on which days are worked.
Our offer to you:
- Salary from £45,000 - £75,000 FTE and depending on experience
- Excellent career development opportunities
- No OOHs or Sundays
- Varied caseload
- Contributory pension scheme
- Generous CPD allowance, which is strongly encouraged
- Fantastic team environment
- Exclusive company discounts and rewards including 20% off at Vets4Pets, Pets at Home and the Groom Room
And there’s more
