What you’ll do
As Control Valve Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, reporting, and repairing our customer's valves both on and off site. Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Act as first response to our customers supporting with any faults or breakdowns.
- Assist our customers with troubleshooting and root cause analysis, ensuring efficient and effective service provision at all times.
- Strip, inspect, test, assemble, and commission repaired or new valves to standard, completing the necessary documents.
- Test valves in line with ours and the customer's standards.
What you’ll need:
- Ability to problem solve, and be able to accurately read and review manufacturing drawings/designs.
- Experience with repairing various valves, specifically Control/Relief/Isolation Valves and actuation, whether pneumatic or hydraulic.
- Familiarity with most valve instrumentation including Pneumatic/Electronic (DVC) and associated ancillaries.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment required to perform daily valve repair duties.
- Full driving license, as on-site maintenance will be required.
- Technical/specification writing and interpretation skills.
