Role Requirements: To machine components to technical drawings and specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set-up and operate CNC Machines.
  • Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
  • Self-inspection of your own work.
  • Preventative and General maintenance checks.
  • Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times.

Competencies:

  • Read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Ability to set and operate CNC Machines – Milling.
  • Ability to edit and prove out CNC Programs.
  • Ability to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers etc).
  • Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Must be self-motivated.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures:

  • Produce components to the correct standards within a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program.
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the Oil and Gas industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience operating CNC Machines.
  • Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar.
