Description

University of Warwick Women\’s netball club are seeking a dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic part time coach to help train, strengthen and support our BUCS 1\’s and 2\’s squad. Our club is student led, with an executive committee of individuals supported by Warwick Sport and the Student Unions.

Coaches are expected to work tightly with our BUCS Captain and communicate regularly with the squads, providing constructive feedback that push our athletes to develop as collectives and individuals.

Coaching Requirements:

  • Proven experience of high-level coaching and/or performance
  • Preferably level 2 coaching qualification
  • Training dates/times: Friday Morning 8am-9am, Saturday Morning 9am-11am (28th April 2025 – 9th June 2025, 6th October 2025 – 10th December 2025, 12th January 2026 – 18th March 2026) and Wednesday fixtures both home and away (where possible)
  • Travel: For away matches, we can provide transport that will leave from Warwick University, travel to the game and return to Warwick
  • Experience working with a range of skill levels and abilities and push all squads for promotions in their respective leagues
  • Work alongside BUCS captains to provide a competitive standard of coaching for athletes and teams
  • Communicate regularly with Performance Captain to outline training programmes and goals for the season
  • Enthusiastic with a desire to coach and work with girls who are keen to improve and develop their netball ability and focus on providing a positive training environment
