Description

The Role

As the Women’s Head Coach, you’ll be at the forefront of women’s football and futsal development at UA92. You’ll lead weekly training, guide match-day performance, and drive player growth. Beyond the pitch, you’ll collaborate across departments, foster team spirit, and champion participation in women’s sport. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in a dynamic, inclusive coaching environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Monday evening Football training sessions that promote enjoyment, development, and team cohesion
  • Coach Wednesday football fixtures and support futsal round-robin events on occasional Saturdays
  • Provide individual feedback and help players access performance services
  • Drive recruitment and retention through welcome events and taster sessions
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and aspirational club culture
  • Collaborate with the Football & Futsal Development Officer and student leadership to grow the programme and build partnerships

What We’re Looking For

A UEFA C Licence (minimum); working towards UEFA B is a bonus

Up-to-date First Aid and Safeguarding certificates (or willingness to obtain)

Strong leadership, communication, and match-day management skills

A passion for women’s sport, player development, and student experience

Experience in BUCS competition or higher education sport Experience in coaching or playing futsal
