Description

English Universities Sport (EUS) is the official association in England which administrates and sanctions national representative student competition across higher education. We are a democratic and innovative membership organisation, comprising of a strong Committee, exceptional coach network and professional support staff from the sport and higher education sectors. EUS strives to support the development of all its student athletes and provide opportunities to compete at the highest domestic representative level. Our teams compete in the biennial Home Nations Tournament as well as numerous fixtures against professional and amateur representative clubs from across the UK.

The Vice Chairperson Role + Support the Chairperson in strategic planning & delivery

+ Deputise for the Chair when needed & lead key meetings or initiatives

+ Ensure timely progress on key projects & long term organisations goals

+ Develop key strategic documents, including Annual Reports & Role-Specific Handbooks

+ Execute communications plan with Subscribed Institutions & selected athletes

+ Oversee internal policy compliance (including review cycles & documentation maintenance)

Required Skills, Experience & Knowledge: + Experience working in committees, leadership, or coordination roles

+ Strong project management & organisational skills

+ Understanding of higher education & sport systems
