Our facilities team are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our highly successful team of more than 50 sports staff dedicated to ensuring that an NTU student's lifestyle is much more than lectures and lie-ins. You will work across our two high quality sport sites which have a range of different facilities including a Climbing Wall, Sports Hall, Squash Courts, 3G pitch, Grass Pitches, Fitness Suites and more.
As a Sports Operations Assistant, you will be the main point of contact for all enquiries regarding our sports facilities and fitness suites. You will have a flexible approach and be professional in delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
- Front of house for all NTU customers
- Assisting with telephone and booking enquiries
- Enrolling new members
- Processing bookings and payments
- Using a computerised booking system
- Administrative support
- Setting up sports equipment
You must be reliable and conscientious with great communication and organisation skills. Good teamwork and willingness to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Our Facilities
We have a fantastic range of sports facilities at our City campuses, including industry-standard gym equipment, a 10m climbing wall, a sports hall, dance studios and a sports therapy suite offering physiotherapy and sports massage. Our Clifton campus is home to the Lee Westwood Sports Centre, a fully floodlit all-weather astro-turf pitch, three brand new squash courts, an exercise studio, sports hall, grass pitches and a newly refurbished fitness suite. Our Equestrian Centre at Brackenhurst features both indoor and outdoor arenas and holds a variety of events throughout the year, including unaffiliated and affiliated dressage competitions, and unaffiliated show jumping.
