About the Role
NTU Sport proudly supports talented athletes and those who play sport purely for fun, helping each individual to achieve their personal goals; we encourage all our students and staff to follow an active, healthy lifestyle; and we are pleased to welcome the wider community onto campus to take advantage of our world‑class sports facilities.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the programme offers a wide range of sport specific triage sessions, match day delivery to selected sports, access for other performance/competitive athletes as well as offering bookable treatment sessions available to the wider membership. You will take a leading role in managing relationships with a range of external organisations, and ensuring our programmes are individually designed focusing around the management of playing load, injury management and wellbeing.
You will have a strong understanding of the broad range of support services and elements required to provide an effective high performance athlete environment, and experience of how to deliver in a multi‑sport environment reporting to a range of stakeholders. You will be conscientious with good communication, influencing and team working skills. In addition, you will need to be adaptable and have a flexible approach to work with availability to work evenings and weekends where necessary.
