Job Information
- Part time role, for the 2026/27 academic year initially
- Term Time only (Sep - Mar) approximately 5 hours per week
- Most delivery will take place at the Northumberland Club in Jesmond
Responsibilities
- To lead engaging, high quality group coaching sessions to Newcastle University Tennis Club’s BUCS squad
- To run trials, pick squads and ranking orders for teams
- To attend key home BUCS fixtures to provide coaching support and identify areas of improvement
- To deliver targeted individual/pairs/small group coaching sessions to supplement the larger squad sessions
Qualifications
- LTA Coach (Level 3) qualification or above with accredited + status
- Ideally the successful candidate should be a current or ex‑tennis player of a good standard, with experience developing young players at a performance level
