Northumbria University is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Netball Coach to support the delivery and development of its student netball programme. With 8 BUCS teams competing across a range of levels, the club offers opportunities for both highly competitive and developing players, while maintaining a strong culture focused on ambition, progression, and success.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions, support player development across varying abilities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performance sporting environment. Working closely with student athletes, club committees, and the wider university sport team, the coach will help prepare teams for training, competition, and performance events throughout the academic year.
The role requires availability for Monday evening training sessions, Friday morning sessions, and Wednesday BUCS match days. However, we are open to conversations around availability for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who is passionate about athlete development, teamwork, and creating an engaging environment that supports both participation and competitive success.
