Help shape the future of Women's Football at the University of Leicester.
The University of Leicester is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Women's Football Coach to lead our Team Leicester Women's Football Club during the 2026/27 academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a motivated group of student athletes competing in BUCS competition while helping drive participation, player development and club success.
What you'll do
- Lead and deliver training sessions on Mondays and Saturdays.
- Manage and coach the team during BUCS league and cup fixtures.
- Support player development and squad progression.
- Work alongside the student committee to grow and develop the club.
- Create an enjoyable, inclusive and high performing team environment.
- We are looking for someone who
- Holds a recognised football coaching qualification.
- Has experience coaching football teams.
- Is passionate about developing players and supporting student athletes.
- Can commit to Wednesday matchdays, which are essential for this role.
- Enjoys working within a university sport environment.
- Availability
The successful candidate should ideally be available for
- Monday Training Sessions
- Saturday Training Sessions
- Wednesday BUCS Fixtures (essential priority)
