Royal Holloway Boxing Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Boxing Coach to help develop its newly established competitive programme this coming academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the club as it prepares to enter BUCS competition for the first time and continue growing competitive boxing at Royal Holloway.

The successful candidate will deliver one competitive training session per week, working with performance-focused members to develop their technical skills, fitness, and competition readiness. They will also play a key role in preparing athletes for BUCS fixtures, Varsity, and an inaugural annual Fight Night in December, subject to confirmation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver one weekly competitive training session
  • Develop athletes' technical ability, tactical awareness, and competition readiness
  • Support the club in preparing for BUCS competitions, Varsity, and Fight Night
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating training environment
  • Work collaboratively with the club committee and Students' Union staff
Essential Requirements
  • England Boxing Level 2 Coaching Qualification
  • Valid First Aid qualification
  • Appropriate coaching insurance
  • Current affiliation with England Boxing

Commitment: Training: One competitive session per week (2 hours) Events: Attendance at BUCS competition (subject to entry), Varsity, and Fight Night Pay: £40 per hour, 2 hours per week, with additional event attendance by agreement Start date: Late September/Early October
