Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for organising and delivering high-quality training and individual skill development sessions, preparing club members and teams to compete in fixtures and/or competitions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working in partnership with other coaching staff, including volunteer coaches
- Developing and catering for club members of varying abilities in collaboration with the Club committee and Team Captains
- Attending and contributing to club, team, and coach development reviews during the season
- Ensuring health and safety in all coached activities in line with NGB guidelines
- Leading squad and team selection for fixtures
- Completing the Unitemps employment process and providing necessary documentation such as personal coaching insurance
- Being a positive, professional role model, promoting an enjoyable, motivating, and inclusive atmosphere that upholds the ethos of Team Leicester
Skills and Experience
- Level 2 Coaching Qualification minimum (or equivalent)
- Personal Coaching Insurance
- Significant coaching experience
- Availability for training times and fixtures/competitions, where possible
- Commitment to observing and implementing the University’s policies and procedures
