Description
The Role
You’ll be at the heart of UA92’s futsal journey, leading our Men’s 1st team in BUCS competition, supporting the 2nd team, and delivering high-energy training sessions. You’ll drive performance, foster development, and create an environment where student-athletes can grow in skill, confidence, and character. This is more than just coaching it’s about culture, community, and creating an unforgettable student experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead weekly training sessions (Tuesday evenings TBC) with a focus on individual and team development
- Manage matchday operations for the 1st team and support the 2nd team
- Promote player access to performance services and guide talented athletes toward progression pathways
- Work closely with the Football and Futsal Development Officer and student leadership to shape the future of UA92 Futsal
- Drive student engagement and visibility of futsal across campus through events and recruitment
What We’re Looking For
- You’ve coached at a competitive level and bring the energy, discipline, and positivity needed to inspire young players.
- You’ll have a National Futsal Coaching qualification (minimum)
- Current First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A real commitment to inclusivity, student development, and the power of sport to transform lives
- Bonus if you’ve worked within BUCS or higher education sport settings
