Description
Coaching 2 hours per week, Friday 7pm-9pm, plus 0.5 hours of planning time (£25/hour) Start date of job: 25th September 2026
As Men's Football Coach, you will be involved in supporting Team ARU with the following responsibilities:
- Delivery of on pitch sessions with the club (to include taster sessions & training)
- Plan sessions to meet the needs of the participants that are progressive and appropriate.
- You must read and make yourself familiar with the Coaches Handbook and understand ARU policies and procedures.
Essential requirements:
- To hold a minimum of a Level 1 or equivalent Football Coaching Qualification.
- Strong communication, motivational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in sports coaching.
- Commitment to inclusivity and student development.
Desirable:
- Experience coaching competitive university teams.
- A valid first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
