About the Role

As Commercial & Brand Partnerships Manager, you will play a leading role in driving British Triathlon's commercial growth through the development, sale, management and activation of strategic brand partnerships. Working across the organisation, you will help create innovative and impactful partnerships that deliver long‑term value for commercial partners, participants and the wider triathlon community.

You will lead the development and management of a portfolio of brand partnerships, ensuring exceptional delivery and partner satisfaction. Identify, prospect and help secure new commercial opportunities that support British Triathlon's strategic objectives and revenue growth ambitions. Support with the creation of compelling sponsorship propositions, partnership packages and sales presentations that attract brands and organisations. Work collaboratively across participation, events, performance, marketing, communications and digital teams to deliver innovative partnership activations and measurable outcomes. Support partnership renewals, commercial negotiations and long‑term relationship development to maximise retention and growth.

We're searching for someone with proven experience in commercial partnerships, sponsorship sales, business development or account management, ideally within sport, events, media or entertainment. Who can demonstrate a track record of generating new business revenue and building strong stakeholder relationships across a variety of sectors. Who has a strong understanding of sponsorship strategy, activation and commercial rights packaging, combined with excellent presentation and proposal‑writing skills. Who is commercially ambitious, highly organised and motivated by creating meaningful partnerships that deliver measurable impact. Successful working relationships are key to any role. Our new Commercial & Brand Partnerships Manager will report into the Director of Commercial & Brand Partnerships. The successful candidate will be an integral and valued member of the organisation and is likely to thrive through developing and maintaining trusted working relationships with commercial partners, agencies, event organisers, clubs, athletes and colleagues across the organisation.

The role will benefit from our successful hybrid working model, where colleagues work from our Loughborough head office a couple of days a week, providing a supportive, collaborative and fun working environment, whilst also allowing flexibility to work remotely. Travel throughout the UK to attend partner meetings, events and industry functions, as well as occasional weekend working when required will also form part of the role.
