Job Purpose
Reporting to the Process Lead, you will form part of the Beet Slicer station team.
Main responsibilities will include operation of the Beet Slicer machines, changing and rebuilding knife blocks, quality assurance checks and maintaining the station to a high standard while complying with safety, production, quality and all other compliance requirements.
- Assembling Knife blocks to the correct tolerance in order to maintain product quality within specified limits.
- Working on your own and as part of a team to maintain station performance.
- Identifying reporting and resolving operational issues before they upscale.
- Satisfying safety, production, quality and all other compliance requirements.
Ideally you will have practical experience, preferably in a production environment and/or operation of plant, although comprehensive training will be given to the successful candidate.
You will have good communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
To meet the desired criteria, applicants will need to behave safely, have a passion to excel and be self-motivated.
Other qualities the successful candidate will have are to be hardworking, committed, flexible, enthusiastic and willing to develop in a production environment.
