Around 3,500 farmers based in East Anglia and the East Midlands supply our four advanced manufacturing sites with eight million tonnes of sugar beet every year. We, in turn, make this into over 1 million tonnes of sugar, serving customers across the UK, Ireland and increasingly growing commercially in the EU and world sugar markets.

- Base Hourly rate: £14.89 with addition shift allowance, Campaign rate will be £18.75
- Working Pattern: Beet Intake shift pattern (12-hour shift pattern, average 42hr week including weekends)
We are looking to recruit a number of individuals to fill seasonal roles on our sugar beet processing campaign, running from September 2026 to mid-March 2027. You will join our factory operations teams and will play a vital role in processing the sugar beet crop into sugar and other co-products.
Main Scope of the Roles
- The roles will involve operating all plant within specific areas of the factory in a manner that satisfies safety, production, quality and all other compliance requirements.
- They will also entail working shifts during processing seasons, controlling operational parameters in order to maintain product within specified limits, as well as troubleshooting operational issues.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
Ideally you will have practical experience, preferably in a production environment and/or operation of plant, although comprehensive training will be given to the successful candidate. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. You will need to have a strong safety awareness, and a willingness to seek and develop continuous improvement activities.

To meet the desired criteria, applicants will need to act safely, have a passion to excel and be self-motivated. Other qualities the successful candidate will have are to be hardworking, committed, flexible, enthusiastic and willing to develop in a production environment. A willingness to seek out, develop and support continuous improvement activities is also desirable.
