Pattern of Work – 36.5 hours, Monday - Friday

What you need to know about the role

The Treasury Manager plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Treasury function within a lean and dynamic team. Reporting to the head of Treasury, this role is responsible for managing cash, liquidity, payments, and trade finance activities while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance. This role requires a hands-on approach and close collaboration with internal departments and external banking partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cash management activities, ensuring optimal liquidity across bank accounts and timely funding of operational requirements
  • Manage and monitor the company’s short-term cashflow forecasts
  • Ensure timely execution and settlement of all payments, including IATs, invoice payments via SAP and manual payments
  • Support the issuance and management of trade finance instruments such as letter of credit, bonds, guarantees, and export collections
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all treasury-related items, including bank accounts, intercompany loans and ABLs, and financial instruments
  • Liaise with banks to manage banking relationships, and support account opening, closure and KYC processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and periodic review of Treasury policies, controls, and risk management procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations and provide treasury input where needed
  • Prepare Treasury reports and dashboards for management review
  • Support Treasury related audits

What we need to know about you

  • Finance or Accounting Qualification (part-qualified ACT, ACCA, CIMA) or substantial experience in a similar treasury role. Fully qualified is desirable
  • Hands-on experience in executing financial and cash transactions
  • Experience preparing and reviewing accounting entries
  • Proven ability to perform periodic bank and treasury reconciliations
  • Solid understanding of funding structures and hedging principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Approachable and collaborative with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated, proactive and reliable
