What you need to know about the role
As a Technical Electrical Services Lead Engineer, you’ll lead a small group of electrical project engineers supporting manufacturing operations & projects, setting electrical standards and improving electrical compliance. Additionally, the role has management responsibility for a number of central service contracts and document storage.
You’ll support a range of engineering activities, including:
- Maintenance of site electrical record storage & associated systems.
- Fire detection, intruder and air conditioning site contracts.
- Support business and manufacturing plan electrical duty holders with up to date technical and compliance information.
- Project involvement, from design and technical submissions through to installation and commissioning of capital works.
- Technical leads for various electrical and instrumentation technologies.
- Develop and update internal electrical technical standards.
- Assist customers with performance and reliability improvements, identifying areas for enhancement and delivering practical solutions.
- Safety-first mindset, ensuring all activities align with our rigorous safety standards.

- A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Significant experience in a maintenance or reliability engineering role within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
