What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide strategic leadership in risk and compliance, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Focus on strengthening internal controls, conducting high-level reviews, and guiding the business in implementing best practices for risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic insights, overseeing critical compliance programs, and driving continuous improvement in risk processes to safeguard the organisation's integrity and operational resilience.
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks and processes.
  • Oversee identification, evaluation, and mitigation of business risks, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Direct compliance programs and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and monitor compliance initiatives (including training and e-learning).
  • Provide strategic guidance and coverage for critical compliance functions, including SAP release strategy, during key periods.
  • Maintain and update the corporate risk register, incorporating changes from local and global operations.

  • Proven experience in risk and compliance leadership roles, ideally within manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. IRM, ICA, ACCA, or legal background).
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management, compliance frameworks, and business processes.
  • Strategic thinking and experience managing complex non-routine projects.
