We are seeking a skilled engineer to work closely with the business, application owners, and IT teams to unlock the value of data. This is a technical role that focuses on designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio to provide actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organisation. Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in building and deploying Microsoft Copilot Agents, including integration with Power Platform and enterprise workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for Power Platform solutions, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to design effective solutions.
- Design, build, and support Power BI dashboards and semantic models following IT standards.
- Develop and maintain reliable, efficient Power Automate workflows.
- Build and govern Copilot Studio solutions aligned with architecture and security principles.
- Integrate and model data from enterprise systems in partnership with application owners.
- Ensure all solutions meet IT governance, security, data protection, and lifecycle standards.
- Work with IT teams to deliver scalable, resilient platforms.
- Own technical documentation, monitoring, and continuous optimisation of Power Platform applications.
- Provide production support and technical guidance.
- Explore and prototype innovative Power Platform capabilities to support IT and business strategy.
What we need to know about you
- Bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science / Data Analytics, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT, data, or application development role.
- Proven experience delivering and supporting production solutions within an enterprise environment.
- Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform in a professional setting.
- Power BI (data modelling, DAX fundamentals, report and dashboard development).
- Power Automate (cloud flows, triggers, connectors, error handling).
- Copilot Studio (or equivalent conversational / automation tooling).
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are desirable, particularly in Power BI or Power Platform (e.g. PL‑300, PL‑200, PL‑400). Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered in place of formal certification.
