About the Role
To provide strategic leadership in risk and compliance, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on strengthening internal controls, conducting high-level reviews, and guiding the business in implementing best practices for risk mitigation and compliance. Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic insights, overseeing critical compliance programs, and driving continuous improvement in risk processes to safeguard the organization’s integrity and operational resilience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and processes
- Oversee identification, evaluation, and mitigation of business risks, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Direct compliance programs and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Manage and monitor compliance initiatives (including training and e-learning)
- Provide strategic guidance and coverage for critical compliance functions, including SAP release strategy, during key periods.
- Maintain and update the corporate risk register, incorporating changes from local and global operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in risk and compliance leadership roles, ideally within manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. IRM, ICA, ACCA, or legal background)
- Advanced knowledge of risk management, compliance frameworks, and business processes.
- Strategic thinking and experience managing complex non-routine projects.
