We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Research Associate in Digital Twins in Healthcare who is capable of bringing data-driven modelling approaches and digital twins solutions to health services delivery. RESHAPE-CARE aims to transform the delivery of healthcare for people with multiple long-term conditions. It will integrate the personal (shared decisions about treatment) with the technical (“digital twin” models of services). Our focus is on the needs of people from underserved and under-represented communities.
RESHAPE-CARE is a partnership between health and engineering and between the Universities of Sheffield and Manchester. We are looking for a researcher who can apply data-driven modelling principles and develop static and dynamic system models of patients and populations towards a solution to a complex healthcare challenge. You will work with key stakeholders to the requirements of the digital twins from a model based systems engineering description, use relevant real and synthetic data for model development, and develop software solutions to implement the digital twins. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to help the project reshape the health services.
