The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is the trade association for the private security industry in the UK, representing over 70% of the country’s security products and services. Established in 1967, the BSIA provides a unified voice for its members to government, standards bodies, and industry stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulators. The association sets strict quality standards for its voluntary members and promotes the use of high-quality and professional security solutions. The BSIA represents member companies across 16 sectors of the professional security industry, ensuring their interests are well-represented and fostering innovation and trust.

Role Description

The BSIA is recruiting a Training & Schemes Manager to lead the growth and commercial success of the BSIA Learning Hub, in addition to stimulating take up of flagship industry schemes, including CySPAG, FASQUAL, and the BSIA Security Jobs Board. This is a high-impact role focused on turning standards and best practice into CPD-accredited learning, driving scheme adoption, and delivering measurable value to members and sustainable revenues to the Association.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and grow the BSIA Learning Hub (On-Demand, Webinars, Library)
  • Launch and scale CPD-accredited courses and webinars
  • Drive uptake of BSIA schemes through targeted campaigns and partnerships
  • Manage learning platforms, partners, and performance against KPIs
  • Translate complex standards into practical, market-ready learning and propositions.

About you:

  • Proven experience managing learning portfolios or industry schemes with commercial targets
  • Strong background in CPD, webinars, LMS/LMP platforms, or B2B go-to-market delivery
  • Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to turn policy and standards into clear value propositions
  • Knowledge of the UK security sector, standards, or vetting frameworks is highly desirable.
