The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is the trade association representing over 70% of UK security products and services providers. Founded in 1967, the BSIA serves as a unified voice for the private security industry, engaging with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders. Membership is voluntary and dependent on strict criteria, ensuring high standards of quality, accountability, and professionalism. BSIA members benefit from exclusive representation, industry influence, and increased credibility. The association comprises 16 sections, covering a wide range of both manpower and electronic security specializations.
The BSIA is recruiting a Training & Schemes Manager to lead the growth and commercial success of the BSIA Learning Hub and flagship industry schemes, including CySPAG, FaSQUAL, and the BSIA Security Jobs Board. This is a high-impact role focused on turning standards and best practice into CPD-accredited learning, driving scheme adoption, and delivering measurable value to members and sustainable revenues to the Association.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow the BSIA Learning Hub (On-Demand, Webinars, Library)
- Launch and scale CPD-accredited courses and webinars
- Drive uptake of BSIA schemes through targeted campaigns and partnerships
- Manage learning platforms, partners, and performance against KPIs
- Translate complex standards into practical, market-ready learning and propositions
About You
- Proven experience in managing learning portfolios or industry schemes with commercial targets
- Strong background in CPD, webinars, LMS/LMP platforms, or B2B go-to-market delivery
- Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to turn policy and standards into clear value propositions
- Knowledge of the UK security sector, standards, or vetting frameworks is highly desirable
The Offer
- £35,000 salary + bonus scheme
- A 12-month contract, with a clear pathway to a permanent role based on results
- A hybrid role with office-based working, and some travel requirements across the UK security industry.
