Agecroft is one of the new Talent Inclusion Academies and this role is part funded by British Rowing, The Junior Talent Inclusion Coach will grow junior membership, improve performance standards, and provide opportunities for young people from ethnically diverse and lower socioeconomic backgrounds to access and thrive in rowing.

Agecroft Rowing Club, based in Salford Quays, Manchester, is one of the leading provincial clubs in the country with an excellent boathouse, fleet of boats and gym facility.

The Agecroft junior squad has existed in its current form for three years, with 50 members now competing regularly. Graduates of the squad have already rowed for GB at U19 World Championships, and the club juniors recently won medals at the British Club Championships.
