Development Rowing Coach - Milton Keynes Rowing Club

Milton Keynes Rowing Club is a small, friendly club based on Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes, which encourages both participation and performance. They are looking for a coach whose main focus will be on developing their adult novice rowers and more experienced adult members who are not members of their performance squad.

Role Requirements

  • Is passionate about facilitating the progression of every rower to enable them to achieve their potential
  • Has a positive attitude and the ability to motivate and encourage
  • Has experience of coaching senior and masters rowers
  • Can lead one regular training session a week - either Monday evening or Saturday morning.
  • Could be available to support training camps or other events
  • Has a British Rowing Coaching Qualification, or is willing to work towards one
  • Has a Powerboat qualification or is willing to obtain one (financial assistance may be available) as coaching is from a launch
