London Rowing Club – Session Coach

London Rowing Club seeks a qualified coach for 9 sessions per month

Requirements

• Coaching experience, preferably on the Tideway
• Level 2 Power Boat License
• Knowledge of tideway navigation rules
• Ability, expertise and desire to coach both successful masters and established recreational rowers
• Right to work in the UK
• Skills to coach both sweep and scull for a range of ages

The rowing groups have fixed days and times for sessions listed below:

Every Sunday – 8:30am

1 or 2 Sundays per month – 10:15am

2 Wednesdays per month – 6:15am

1 or 2 Saturdays per month – 10:45am

There may be some flexibility to accomodate candidates schedules. Slightly shifting times is more feasible than significant changes to the weekend sessions.

On Water Coaching – our group leaders undertake all the management of the groups, including setting the crews for each session.

Salary: £60 per session, all sessions are 90 minutes including pre & post briefings
