Corpus Christi College are looking for an experienced and friendly Boatperson/Boathouse Manager to work closely with the Boat Club Captains on matters relating to the day-to-day operation of the Boathouse, shared between Corpus Christi, Girton, Newnham, Sidney Sussex and Wolfson. The post involves maintaining rowing equipment and facilities, and fostering a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all club members.
Person Specification:
- Extensive knowledge of managing a boathouse, or a comparable equipment-based boating environment.
- Broad working knowledge of the boating industry, including boats, equipment, suppliers and retailers.
- Experience in the use of machinery for the repair and maintenance of boats and associated equipment.
- Ability to work without supervision and adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
