We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Experience Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our volunteers have a positive and rewarding experience. You will work closely with volunteers and staff to support volunteer engagement, development, and retention.
What does a day in the life of a Volunteer Experience Coordinator look like?
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance volunteer engagement and satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers, addressing any concerns or issues.
- Organize volunteer recognition events and activities.
- Being part of the Volunteering Support Line, offering support and advice to volunteers.
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer activities and contributions.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify volunteer opportunities and needs.
- Promote the value of volunteering within the organization and the community.
To be a successful Volunteer Experience Coordinator, you'll need:
- Previous experience in volunteer management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and volunteer management software.
- A commitment to the values and mission of the British Red Cross.
