Location: Falkirk, community based with travel around the area

Salary: £22,932 per annum Hours: 35 hours per week Contract: Permanent

Registration with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) required within 3 months of starting the role

A day in the life of a Support Worker will involve:

  • Providing person centred care within service users home setting.
  • Supporting service users with activities of daily living- personal care needs, meal preparation, medication and domestic tasks where required.
  • Providing practical and emotional support and guidance to service users
  • Providing reactive, focused, and flexible support to adults
  • Responding to referrals from Clinicians and Community Health Professionals
  • Assess service users’ needs, complete and follow a support plan for the individual.

To be a successful Support Worker, you’ll:

  • Have the Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we can not offer sponsorship for this role.
  • Have a good knowledge of services provided by the NHS and Social Care.
  • Be able to make things great. You know how to improve service quality for the benefit of users.
  • Be professional. You can deal with queries in a diplomatic and confidential manner.
  • Love being flexible. Working hours out with the norm suits you.
