Shop Assistant
Location: Plymstock
Salary: £24,479 per annum, pro rata (£13.45 per hour)
Hours: 7 (one day per week)
Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Assist the shop manager in running a customer‑focused shop.
- Create a brilliant shopping environment and provide an excellent in‑store customer experience.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, operate the till, and design striking displays.
- Sort stock and prepare items for display behind the scenes.
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience and confidence handling money.
- Strong communicator who thrives on excellent customer service.
- Commercial savvy with a grasp of hitting targets.
- Ability to appreciate and anticipate each customer’s needs and delight them.
